Terminator 2: Judgement Day is an absolute classic of the science fiction genre. From its special effects, which were ahead of their time, to its captivating story and humane characters, James Cameron's crew have undoubtedly created a stellar masterpiece of the genre.

The Book of Eli Some movies are worth watching twice and The Book of Eli is no exception. This post-apocalyptic film follows the story of Eli (Denzel Washington) as he travels west. Thirty years have passed since the nuclear decimation of the planet. During this time a voice led Eli to a special book. And now he’s trying to deliver it to a place where it will be safe. The film highlights all the skills one would need to survive in our collapsed society. From the people who live on others flesh to the need for clean water. Trying to survive and fulfill a mission that isn’t defined takes a lot of perseverance. But his journey on the road has taught him some skills. A thirty-year mission to deliver a book definitely has its challenges. And Eli is not willing to die before surrendering the “book” at its intended place. After all the years of wandering free, he finds the book’s new home. To watch a movie from the eyes of an audience is one thing. But to put yourself in Eli’s shoes is another. After arriving at the prison we begin to understand a little more about Eli and our eyes are open. -Dennis Hoerauf
