So it sounds like you have the information for the first post already, just need it written up? In which case, since no research is needed, I wouldn't expect to need more than three hours to put together the first draft of a post of 1,000-1,500 words. In the interest of transparency, I do have a fairly work heavy couple of days coming up as I am producing two webinars, but I would expect to still be able to have a first draft to you by close of Friday (Please note that I'm in the UK, so a few hours ahead of you). Next week is much quieter, so as long as you can pass on feedback pretty quickly, I can get revisions done fast.
I'm a fundraiser for a fairly niche charity, which means I spend all my time re-writing technical content in a reader-friendly way in order to convince people to support us. Although it is different from marketing for a commercial company, there are also a lot of transferable skills between fundraising and marketing, so this experience should help! I've been writing content for the web for over 7 years now.
