We are a growing SEO content based online business with various affiliate program partnerships that aim to grow a network of informative online content for e-Commerce products (focused on product reviews).
== What We Seek ==
Simply put, we are searching for a responsive, reliable Assistant Editor that will work directly with me, the Head of Content/Project Manager.
== What You’ll Do ===
You'll be in charge of quality control for all the content. You will be working together with me, following the structured guidelines we provide, you will need to make sure that all the articles are well-written, adhere to our expected criteria, and fulfill good readability.
The process will go as follows:
- Our writer produces and submits the assigned articles
- Round 1: The article gets a quick read and revision (done by me)
- Round 2: The article is uploaded on Wordpress CMS and goes through a quick proofread / edit process (done by me)
- Round 3: You then read and revise through the edited article to ensure everything on our criteria checklist is up to par, the product order is logically placed, and the writing is cohesive, relevant, and useful to a reader.
To sum up, your job as Assistant Editor is to be my second pair of eyes. Considering the fact that our company is getting busier and my main task is to manage and do business strategy, we need a detail-oriented person that can make sure that each article is on point for the article to go live.

So, it is absolutely crucial for you to be reliable in meeting deadlines, setting smart goals, and communicating honestly. -
-- Communication – As a remote job, we give you your freedom and independence to work the way you want (as long as you deliver of course). However, that does not mean there should be a lack of conversation between us. This does not mean we will hound you at every corner. Instead, we believe that communication is the key to building a strong foundational team, so honesty and openness is something we welcome and expect from you.
== Compensation ==
As each month goes by, we will continue to get better writers on our team to the point where each article won't require that many edits. And considering the fact that the articles go through one-two rounds of edits before coming to your lap, this is what makes your job less burdensome. For this reason, we are initially paying on a quota basis. We will be paying per word at a rate of 0.0085, with the average article being around 1500-3000 words -- this makes one 1000 article 8.5 USD. Of course there is always room to increase the rate as time goes by, but for time being, especially as we experiment with finding the right person, this is how it is. We usually pay every two weeks. On average we have about 200-250 articles per month so you can do the math.
