"Quiet Desperation" - review and edit a draft manuscript.

I have a draft manuscript that recounts personal experience with a start-up business venture that involved a close family member and some high profile investors from Ottawa's high tech community (around the time of the hi-tech bubble 1999 - 2000). My involvement had a devastating impact from both a personal and financial perspective and took some years for me to recover. The current (draft) MS was originally written to document these events as a form of therapy, but has been on the shelf since around 2003/04. I'm now feeling that I should try to get it completed and possibly published in a limited way, mainly for reasons of posterity and future reference by other family members who have had little awareness of the nature and impact of these events. There should not be a lot of rewriting per se, as the facts are well documented and cannot be changed in that sense. My main objective is to ensure that the full (personal) impact of these events are clearly stated and not out of sequence or subject in any way to misinterpretation. It's possible that the required review (and any related editing) will require some amount of personal interaction, to clarify and expound as needed on areas that may not be fully explained or totally clear. These is also a further (minor) need to update/complete the document by adding notes on events that have since transpired and the current status of the original business venture (which continues in existence and has since expanded into the US market.). There is no particular pressure or deadline to have this work completed as at this point it is a very casual and low key undertaking. However, due to the nature of the subject material (and the high profile individuals involved) a high degree of confidentiality is required and will require a Non-Disclosure Agreement to be signed in advance.
