Introduction : The main goal is to design and implement a chat room system using sockets. Problem Statement: Coder is requested to write a Java program of a simple chat room system. Coder can choose the type of sockets to use and he should justify his choice. The system should be able to be deployed on a distributed system. Coder should write two programs: the chat server, and the chat client program. Coder can make appropriate assumptions if needed with justification. A client using the chat system will receive all messages sent by other clients, also its messages will be delivered to all other clients. Each message should be identified by its sender; clients should use pseudonyms and a time stamp for identification. Deliverables: • Coder should design the program in a modular way. • Coder should write a technical report about the system. • Coder should devise a sequence of tests that show that the program works correctly. • Construct test cases that are relatively compact and test the program reasonably well. The test cases should be included in the report. the tests should include at least 4 clients in the chat room. • Server should support multiple chat rooms. NOTE: - No need for a GUI, just a simple command-line program. - Coder should use the attached code to develop the program. - The source codes and the technical writing work should be done by the seller him self, nothing copied from the internet or books, and if the seller done a similar project like this and publish it on the internet or on books, he should re-do it and make sure that the source codes and the written text are plagiarism free....please this is a very serious issue for me, keep in mind this note.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
