I need a logo animation similar to this example, but not as complex: [login to view URL]
Instead of a road, it will be the stone path on the attached logo. The animation for this project will not need the complex scenery details, active sky, or the lightening/tree at the end. The primary purpose of the Jerry Bruckheimer Films video is to show the general idea of the motion effect to use for the slate path (instead of the two-lane highway).
Instead of a tree appearing from the vanishing point, the text of the company name will appear (i.e. the path leads to this company), and then the graphic and the company name will assume the same side-by-side orientation as in the logo.
This animated logo is for a website, not a movie screen. That is why it does not need the same level of detail around and above the slate path. Also, since it is a corporate logo, it does not need to show off complex animation and creativity capabilities, like a movie studio is required to do for its branding. “Too much" can be counterproductive for this brand. The final product needs to embody the characteristics of the branding of the financial industry - trust, security, etc, - but also forward-thinking.
The animated logo needs to be refined and subtle in execution. Animations like this are commonplace for movie studios. Animated logos are not typical in the financial industry. We are breaking new ground here but cannot break too much new ground.
I need to see examples of prior projects that show the technical ability to produce a deliverable at this level, but also demonstrates a reasonable level of creativity. Equally important is your explanation of how your examples embody the key components of the brand they represent.
