I need you to build two quick prototypes of the app in Android Studio.
The APP-1 will have as its main screen a map: below a button and one above. Clicking on the button below will display a screen with 3 options: Accidents, Alert and Warning. When selecting any of these options, you will go to a new screen that will contain a comment textbox and the option to upload a photo or video and a send button. When sending, it will be saved in a Mysql database: the date and time, the GPS point and address where the notification was generated, the user and his (alternate) phone number, the photos and comments, if the app has no connection The internet will save the record on your phone until you have a connection and can send it. When it is successfully entered into the database it will notify with a toast that the record was saved correctly.
The APP-2 as main screen will have a list that will be renewed every 5 mins with the notifications generated by the APP-1 where the header will be one of the 3 options you chose (Accident, Alert and Warning) and your address. When selecting a notification, then you can see the detail of the data that the user generated (Date, GPS point with address, photo or video, comment and type in addition to the point on the map.) The system must discriminate between notifications that were read by the user and what not.
The server will be a standard hosting with a Mysql database. The connection data (user, password, etc.) will be provided when taking the project. The interaction with the database can be via webservice.
The final product considers the app running without errors, the APK and source code which should be easy to read, it does not need to be in the Play Store. The graphic design of the application is not relevant at this stage but it must be reasonably presentable. It is important to be able to see the degree of progress. Being a fast prototype it is required between 5 to 8 days.
