The deliverable will be the application that runs on Raspberry Pi and Android Smartphone and communicates using BLE. The smartphone will have android OS, Kotlin/Java languages will be used to develop the app. We currently propose building and customizing the OpenTrace platform which has been developed by the Ministry of Health in Singapore. OpenTrace protocol promotes community-driven contact tracing across borders. It allows participating devices to log Bluetooth encounters with each other, in order to facilitate epidemiological contact tracing while protecting users’ personal data and privacy. The freelancer will mainly build the new solution on the existing OpenTrace solution which already has a lot of functionality implemented and ready to use. Firebase platform will be used for the back-end services, a central database will be established to store information. We are willing to pay a fixed price for this task, the amount is negotiable in the interview. The applying freelancer should be confident working with BLE, Android Kotlin, Firebase and Python.
