I’m looking for an Android developer to make changes to an existing app that’s already on the Marketplace, which has the main purpose of showing the value of your phone if you trade it in for cash / a new model.
App is currently native Android 4.0+ and needs to remain with backward compatibilities due to the nature of the app (More likely to be installed on older phones that are going to be upgraded).
We’re London based, but remote working is fine.
Updates in scope are:
- Implementing updated UI elements (New font, colours, styling)
- Change a static T&Cs page to fetch T&Cs from a web page instead
- Add ability to retrieve mobile network from API and select and display it for each phone
- Implement a new tab bar section for in-app phone trade-ins, compromising of…
- Landing page with static copy and button
- Phone selector screen where user selects from phones previously added to the app (This screen has already been implemented by needs to be modified to allow user to highlight one or more phones to added to the “basket”)
- Basket screen which summarises all phones previously added with total value, then contains form for user to fill in with their details (name, address, payment method, etc).
- Address picker screen, which allows user to lookup address from postcode provided (API exists for a website version of the app already)
- Submission of form via API
- Summary screen, with static text and finish button
- Minor other changes (E.g. removing a link, shifting copy, swapping few images out)
- App submission to Marketplace
All UIs, assets and API documentation will be provided during development. This app has already been developed for iOS and Windows phone and the code will be available from both to refer to to make things easier.
Looking for a fast, reliable developer with experience implementing XML/JSON APIs and comfortable picking up existing code. Negotiable rate. Looking for immediate start - everything ready to go.
I can provide a lot more information on request if it looks like you’re a good fit for the work. High probability of follow up work in the future.
