We are a bookkeeping firm in Melbourne. We have a lot of work using MYOB and some in Xero. We require payroll, data entry, admin, AR and AP, and bank and credit card reconciliations. We can provide software and all files in soft copy. You can choose the part of the day you prefer to work. To start with the work would be about 4-5 hours per week. Once you demonstrate your ability this will increase to around 30-40 per week. We are seeking a long term business relationship. To be successful you need to have very good written communication skills (65 plus PTE scores). You will also need to pass a 90 minute exam (you do it from home) that tests your ability on MYOB and Australian business knowledge. Given I expect most overseas people will fail the exam we are offering to train someone up. We have a complete online training programme that teaches MYOB and Australian legislation. We normally charge $990 for the course but would offer it to the right candidate for free. It wold take you about 1 month full time to complete all the course. You can start by doing about 5-10 hours per week. Once you are ready for the exam you can sit it. Given we are going to be training someone up the hourly rate is AUD $4 per hour. This is not negotiable but may increase to $4.50 after 9 months of proving you can do the work. I expect we will get a lot of interest.
