I will provide a JeeNode and JeeLink and an embedded device (will be disclosed upon being given the job). You (or I) will modify the embedded device by adding the JeeNode via logic-level serial connection. You will program the JeeNode (using your own code or by modifying existing Arduino application or C++ libraries) to periodically poll the embedded device using a well known and documented protocol. Using the information obtained, you will reformat the data per an agreed on format and transmit it via the JeeNode's wireless interface. You will also use JeeLink documentation/libraries to develop a library and crude demo/test application (preferably in Objective C for the Mac OSX) to receive the data from multiple JeeNodes.
You should be someone that is a proficient and flexible developer with some embedded; Arduino; ObjectiveC; and Serial IO experience. Based on the above, we should be able to agree on an approximate amount of time to complete various benchmarks. Keeping the hourly rate reasonable and coming in on budget and on time with a working product and with minimal 'fuss' will very likely result in bonus paid. I promise to keep this as simple as possible. The product of your work (source code) will most likely be made available for others to use contributing back to the Arduino and JeeNode community as well as the community of users of the embedded device.
Workers not in USA or Canada are not encouraged to apply due to costs and time involved in shipping devices outside of the country.
