Our project team was contracted to deliver a multimedia report for a client in the higher education field.
We plan to deliver this report through a website, for which we would like to contract a web developer. The website will need a user-friendly menu bar to organize the seven pages of the report (which includes roughly 3-5 subsections for each page).
The successful applicant should know how to incorporate the following content, which our company will produce, to the website:
- Text
- Videos
- Data visualization
- Infographics
Performance Period -- Monday, June 6th 2016 – Friday, September 30, 2016
Job Description
- Deliver across the entire website life cycle: concept, design, build, test, and post-launch support
- Work alongside non-technical project team to develop a style that is consistent with our corporate look/style
- Provide several rounds of revision
- Be willing to meet with the team on a semi-frequent/as-needed basis
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent in one or more industry standard programming languages, including Java, .Net, C/C++, C#, Python, HTML5, XML, Ruby, or PHP
- Strong ability to translate technical solutions in nontechnical terms
- Previous website development experience is a must
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent in time management, interpersonal, and team participation skills
- Able to travel to our Washington D.C. and Columbia, MD offices
