I need the home page of this wordpress site to be created in xhtml/css and be responsive:

Currently the center is is just an image but needs to be coded. The menu items will be red on rollover just like "Apply to College". The photo will be a slideshow of 6 photos:

Headline and paragraph will be text, button will link.
Other than the center the header and footer of the site are pretty much done just need to make sure it is all responsive. This is a Genesis child theme.
