I will get to the specifics of what I'm looking for below, but let me start by saying that compensation will work two-fold here. Firstly, this is a gig/project/job that will entail upfront compensation. However, the second piece, which I deem as more vital, is that I'm looking for someone to 'take the reins' with this programming/coding position permanently. This means that the right individual will be offered a percentage of equity. I guess you can see it as 2 positives: Dollars upfront AND an equity stake.
Equally as important as being highly skilled and PROFESSIONAL in coding/programming a website (Back End AND Front End), creative layout will also be part of the collaborative process. So creativity is also key.
These three elements are a must:
1. You live in NYC
2. You are HIGHLY skilled and fluent in web development (Everything from initial discussions, flow charts, coding, beta testing, launch, etc.)
3. You are fluent in Internet Marketing, SEO and Social Platforms and Media
Bottom line - I'm looking for someone who is EQUITY driven (but knows they will be compensated upfront) because they believe in the concept AND have a vested interest in the business - hence, knowing they have a nice % of ownership. Essentially, I'm looking for the right CTO.
I'm an incredibly fair guy that lives by two primary rules - Respect and Discretion. Gender, age, years of experience, etc., etc., means nothing. Who you are, your integrity and what you're looking to do, mean everything.
I've built a few businesses already and have been around the block (many times over) in the past 15 years. I'm looking to get down to it again in a new venture and rock the concept I have.
The entire site/concept has already been drawn out. Ideas for design and a flow chart have already been created. At this point, it's ready for collaboration and coding/programming.
I don't expect this is a job/project/partnership for most. I expect this to evoke an interest in a smaller pool of people who are up for the challenge to work on something brand new and something they can have a vested interest in.
I can't go into detail about the site as I'm quite protective over the idea at this point, but I can tell you that it has financial components as well as creative ones. And when I say 'financial', I don't mean boring.
The site's development and deployment shouldn't be too time consuming. It's more about the QUALITY of information on the site - not an exhaustive QUANTITY.
Like many others out there, I have an incredible idea that I'm looking to bring to fruition on the web.
