Convert a Template to a Website

Kreative AfriKa Supporting African Creativity Kreative Afrika is a brand new web platform that promotes African talent and creativity. Africans from across the continent have the opportunity to engage with the rest of the world through this platform. This platform acts as a shop window for Africans with ideas and products. Africans are known for their entrepreneurial spirit and their ability to make something out of nothing. Imagine a world where Africans could tap into more resources in order to progress a business, a project, an idea. The untapped potential is unimaginable. How will Kreative Africa do this? There are three components to the website. 1. Start Africans who have an idea for a creative project can pitch to members of the public to support or buy. They can upload a video pitch/image as well as complete a form listing details about their project and the budget or details of their product if they are selling. Examples of projects to support: Concert for woman in remote villages IT training skills for local people Theatre Production in town/city Touring Production Music video for emerging music artist Africans who have creative products to sell can upload items to the website to promote. Examples of products can include: Craft work Paintings Drawings Music Furniture Toys Fashion items (clothes, jewellery, hats etc.. 2. Support Members of the public from around the world can watch the pitch and look at details of each project and donate specific amounts to help the project in achieving its budget and taking place. 3. Buy *Members of the public from around the world can take a look around the market place watch the video or look at images of the products that are being sold, and purchase these items. There will be three components to the website 1. Projects – That you can support – Kickstarter style 2. Gallery – Fine art work you can purchase – Saatchi Online style 3. Boutique – Creative products that you can purchase – Etsy style I have purchased two wordpress templates that can be combined to do all the stuff we need which also includes, blog, homepage with sliding images. I can give you the brand template to use.
