Designing and setting up two Mailchimp e-mail HTML templates

I need a best practice design for my blog's newsletter. The design must bear all the characteristics of a best practice newsletter and be based on my blog's current design, look and feel. You must also be able to write the HTML code, which must be optimized for Mailchimp, i.e. all dynamic content fields must be properly setup so that it works with MailChimp's system. I will need two templates initially: One for RSS to Email, and one for general campaign mails and autoresponders.
