creating floating database

I want to create data base in VB or MS Office Conditions- 1) Parts displayroduced should be scanned using scanner and store in database 2) when parts consumed should be removed from data base (triggers from rescanning) 3) Real time qty data printing option for type wise and overall qty display 4) hardware will be provided
