Custom Sharepoint Portal WebPart - Countdown

This bid request is to commission the creation of a small "Countdown" webpart to be inserted into our Sharepoint Portal Intranet. (We use Microsoft's Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 on a MS SQL database.) What the applet should do is say, in a large font "XX days left to XYZ". The days left will be calculated from a date set in the properties for the webpart, as will the custom text that follows. The font size, color, and anything else you can think of should be customizable in the properties screen. We also require an installer to add the necessary permissions to the Sharepoint files. To complete this project you will obviously need MS Visual Studio .NET and the custom SharePoint developer extensions. We will not be supplying these. In your bid PLEASE state whether you have done this sort of work before, and please PROVIDE DETAILS about what you have done with .NET & SharePoint in the past so I know you have read this paragraph and have actual experience doing this. I will award the project to whomever does that the best.
