Colour coded data Entry

I have a marking spreadsheet that lists student names down the left hand side of the page. Along the top I have the correct answers for approx 30 multiple choice questions. What I am after is a spreadsheet that automatically colours the cell either red or green if they are correct then outputs the score that they received. Additionally I require the sheet to generate a score based on correct answers. This score would then be compare to a lesser than or greater than value to create a number called a stanine (like a rank) based upon that score. E.g. they get 25 correct = 3 if they get 30 correct = 4 and so on. There is a simple table that is used to work out this scale and I can provide this to you. I have a spreadsheet already that does this for a different test and can provide this to you so that you may reverse engineer it or in the very least examine its functionality to assist you replicate its functionality. The task would be to create a replica of the example test for two other tests. E.g. I will provide a maths test sample mark sheet that is functional and you would be required to make a replica for a vocabulary and spelling test. For each type of test there are about 3 - 4 variations, which variation they do is based on what grade they are in. I can provide the correct answers in rudimentary spreadsheet form. I.e. as raw data along the top of the page. BONUS - I am likely to pick a bidder that can do the following. These are standardised tests and for each grade level (1-7) the child will be doing a version of these tests twice a year. If you could create a formula or input method that allows me to keep one spreadsheet/sheet that tracks the child over either one or all seven years so that I can observe stanine(rank) growth or lack thereof. E.g. On the first sheet I can enter student names as an input variable. These then automatically populate all the test entry points. Then on the second sheet I can see Test 1 stanine(rank) and test 2(rank) side by side for the year. This could potentially populate out for grade 1 through to 7. The cell could then be compared to the previous value then coloured or indicated in some way to indicate growth (increased stanine number) or lack thereof.
