I have one quick project that I need some assistance with. Instructor has realized that he originally had not given us all of the information for the assignment and wants it redone in 8 hours. I am working on the 4 additional assignments that he also wants done. So I need some help getting this one done again. I am going to add the assignment to the bottom of this description with his comments attached.
It must be submitted in .docx or .doc format.
1. You are a cashier in a candy store. Each of your customers buys exactly one item costing $1.00 or less. Each customer pays for the item with exactly $1.00. Your job is to give each customer their correct amount of change in some combination of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. The combination must be the minimum number of coins. For example, if the item cost is $.38, the change would be 2 quarters, 1 dime, 0 nickels, and 2 pennies ($.62). The input is composed of customer record, each containing the item cost and customer name. Use trailer record logic to read the records. The output is composed of lines, each containing the customer name, item cost, change, number of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. A cost of $.00 will be used to signal the end of the input. You must use dowhile loops. Do not use Integer division to solve this. In VB.NET you may experience rounding errors. For example instead of .02 you may see .0199999. Don’t be concerned about this.
2. Assemble a package with the following sections (in the following order):
I. Statement of the problem.
II. Table of variables
III. Pseudo code
IV. Flow chart
V. VB source code
VI. Screen shot of program (CTRL + Print Screen, then paste into your
editor) output using the following data.
.23 Bill
.51 Sam
.97 Sue
0 End
