Hello All, I have attached [login to view URL] in the attachment . It has 5 columns. Need to delete entire of Column B (i.e LastName) from the excel and Column C (i.e Age) should move to Column B through Unix Shell script. Unix Shell script have following thing will be passed as input 1) name of the file 2) location of the file This script MUST work in GNU bash version of 3.2. Once you completed, DEMO is MUST. No fake Deletion .

Hello, There is no way to do that in bash. You have to create your own bash parser and writer for xlsx files to do that. That will take a lot of time. I can write in ruby exectly what you are looking for.
