My name is Shawn and from September 2015 to January of this year I've been a top appointment setter for a credit card processing based here in Montreal.
The job consisted of making 500-600 outbound calls to USA businesses per day, and setting up appointments with owners who were interested in reducing their credit card processing fees. Our daily quota was 4 appointments per day, but I averaged 7-8 appointments on a 7 hour work day.
Not only was I one of the top in lead generation, but also in terms of the amount of sales generated from leads.
In the 5 months of working for this company, I found what really works when it comes to generating results; confidence, persistence, a calm tone of voice, and not giving up and making those dials (hundreds of them per day).
I really did enjoy working for this company, but I decided to quit because I want to begin working from home and the income potential was limited due to the company's corporate structure.
