Hi. GlusterFS is a great choice for to do distribuited storage cluster. I've worked using 2 equiment and it works without problem So, what linux distribution are you using? do you have some dedicated disk for it? Open to questions.

Glusterfs provides you highly available storage in order to serve different clients. I am not sure how you want to use it. We can discuss it in details and proceed further.
