Dear employer,
I am a fresh law and politics graduate from New Zealand, consequently I am in a great position to write a recommendations report on how you can distribute your product to New Zealand.
Not only am I very familiar with AUS/NZ commercial law (they are quite similar), but I also have experience liaising with third party vendors, having worked as a consultant part-time through 180 Degrees Consulting.
Due to my legal expertise I have a high standard of technical writing, similarly I am experienced in taking complex and dense information and turning into readable and comprehensible reports. I also have access to academic and legal databases in New Zealand and Australia, which other bidders will not. Similarly I have business contacts in Aus and New Zealand that would be willing to answer any questions.
My general plan at this point is to conduct primary research online, using government websites to understand the basic requirements for importation into each country, from there I will research the legal obligations for importation. For this I will use Westlaw and LexisNexis.
In terms of searching for the right shipping company, this will require more research on my part. However, I do have colleagues with experience in this area in New Zealand for whom I can go to for advice. Following that, I will, of course, proceed to fully examine the potential companies and write an original recommendation on which to choose.
Kind regards,
Marcus
