Create Navisworks search plugin.

We are looking to create a search plugin for Navisworks. This plugin is to link scaffold information to a specific location / Line # on a plant and be able to search for and zoom into this area. The search plugin will reference and link to information in an excel spreadsheet and the result will then have more info tabs to show scaffold info, photo etc Example search Line # 3006.01.2013 and then locate and zoom into this line location on the plant and show all of the scaffold information for the scaffold at this location.
