I have a customer that wants to track staff birthdays and work anniversary dates.
they have a MS SQL server and IIS running on site so it makes sense to put something together that will run on existing architecture.
They want to capture all the staff member details via a web interface: first name; lastname; email address; start work date; birthday. position in company
the system must then email the HR department a week prior to the birthday or anniversary a notification.
On the the day it must email a congrats to the person who's birthday or anniversary it it, also to a distribution group in the organisation so everyone knows.
if birthday fall on a weekend, the Friday prior to the event the notification needs to go out.
This job will involve putting a pilot test environment to show us this is working before you install this on the live environment on the customer server. you'll be given TeamViewer access to customer server.
At present this spec is very brief so as to get an estimate of costs, we'll need to get approval from customer before work can commence.
we will provide content for letters/email that the system will use.
