Attached zip has what's needed to build [login to view URL] and NumTest0.exe.
NumCounter analyzes an input file and generates a report named numbers.txt.
Usage example: [login to view URL] [login to view URL]
..............................................
NumTest0 does a test using num (in [login to view URL]) to right of 0 = (ex: 4069)
Usage examples:
[login to view URL] 4000 4100 // usage example where num is inside range
[login to view URL] 40 50 // usage example where num is outside range
In the interests of 'neatly tidying' the code from these 2 routines, I would
like the basic functionality of these 2 executables provided in the form
of 2 'functions' which I'd like put into a new link file. The goal being that
I want a tiny [login to view URL] provided with 3 sample calls to these functions, ex:
2 calls to NumCounter, one using the filename passed as a command line arg
and the other using some other filename, ex: NumCounter("OtherFile");
1 call to NumTest(): // this function takes no parameter
Looking at the files in my zip it's very self evident what they are for.
The 2 .bat files can build the 2 exe's and [login to view URL] is for NumCounter.
If any clarification is needed about this little project, please discuss.
5 star feedback posted after delivering the code (link file and [login to view URL]).
