Hello, I have two servers running Backing up Xubuntu 10.04.2 (Lucid) and would like to have thenm backed up like Norton ghost or Symatec system recovery. I woud like to backup the image and then restore it to a backup server which most likely will have different hardware (bare metal). Is this possible? I looked into clonezilla, but could not make it run. What I need is a step by step procedure on having a good backup recovery. I have looked into clonezilla, mondo rescue, etc. but have not been able to make them work.
