Company website design

I’m looking to redesign a website for my company, MD Consultants. We are a small Toronto based consulting company that specializes in post-secondary admissions. Right now, our company’s website can be viewed here: [login to view URL] . I have a rough idea of what the new website should look like in my head, and it may be best to communicate that with you over the phone (or in person). But briefly, it’ll be based off the old website. While the old website is a flash website created using the Wix interface ([login to view URL]), we would like the new website to not use flash since it’s not viewable on iphones. Also, if there are other ways of hosting the website, please let us know (we’ve currently purchased our domain name from [login to view URL] and it is hosted via Wix). Right now, I think the new website should: •Contain less text and more images (I have the streamlined text for each tab...but we can conceptualize the new website together...ideas are welcome!) •Have a login section where clients can sign-up and create a profile. I’ve envisioned a website where it is very easy to create a basic profile (i.e. just email and password to sign up for discounts, etc). Clients can then upload more information if they wish to request an appointment. We should also have a shopping cart feature where we can bill them via this profile. Currently, we are collecting funds through PayPal. If clients do wish to book an appointment, we’ll be able to get them to read terms and conditions online, etc. We should also be able to send clients emails based on certain checkboxes they have indicated on their profile (some sort of mailing list system to be integrated with the website). Clients can also login after the appointment to like the company on facebook, and to rate their consultant. [Apparemtly, Joomla is a good interface to create such a login system on...please let me know if you are able to create something like this). •Link to Facebook group and Twitter account (social networking followers displayed to show reliability e.g. faces of people who like MD Consultants) •Optimization for social networking and website search (googling key terms should make out website come up: e.g. “medical school admissions help”) •Google analytics (or something of that sort where we can monitor hits to our website) [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] •Put different pictures on the website with symbols (e.g. medicine symbol) •Need to be able to make changes to the website myself once designed If you feel that you can design such a website, please respond with a quote.
