A CAN trace shall be provided along with a CAN database file. (.dbc format) The script needs to extract signals from the CAN trace using the information in the dbc file, and populate an excel sheet with the signal name, value and time information from the CAN trace. The excel sheet thus populated can be used to repeat the same sequence in a testing environment. Details about project are available in attached excel sheet. The attachment references additional files that shall be shared after project is awarded. Candidates with certification in python will be preferred. (Coursera/ EdX/ etc.)

Dear Employer, I have an experience in parsing files using different programming languages. I prefer to use R language but if you need to do it in python, I am fine with that. However, it may take a bit longer to finish the project. In order to start the project, please release a milestone payment of 20% of total proposed budget. Thanks.
