You clearly need a fully-qualified, English First Language practitioner who is able to work empathetically and accurately, and who understands the nuances of the language and your particular context and audience. I have 30 years' experience of working with the English language and I have recently upgraded my qualifications with a professional proofreading and editing course. I am based at GMT+2 hours, a great advantage in terms of turn-around time. The number of days needed depends on the extent of editing required. I usually also allow at least one further day to allow for communication regarding queries, etcetera.
