At first would be good to understand the meaning "dog". If we are talking about swing application -> you are on the right pace and time. Have a huge experience in swing, more than 18+ years. Would suggest to re-use all UI pattern and UX experience. Since swing is so simple and try to use pre-defined components, specially binding approach -> no big time needs to bring simple app. Can send screens of real swing app to see the work art:) Thanks
