Redundant text to me means any word which has been repeated more than once. However, I would like to know what exactly are you trying to achieve? Would you be specifically looking for a particular text? Searching for words is not a problem. I already have a code ready with me. Please provide more details. I am an VB / Excel Expert. Hi, if you are happy with the way PowerPoint internally* is counting words, I have created a VBA that is capturing this information. *You can see the number of words in a presentation by going into menu File -> Info. Under Properties you see the number of words. If you are interested let me know. You can also send me a sample file, then I can check. Kind regards Torben
