I need a graphic designer to create the following 3 pieces of artwork for an iphone/ipad game.
1. 1024px x 768px start screen image showing the game character (Mister G) running along a path that is part of a maze.
2. 1024px x 768px background image. This is a simple image used as the background for other screens in the game.
3. 512px x 512px icon for the game showing the game character (Mister G) and the maze. This image will be scaled to various sizes - the
smallest size being 29px x 29px. The design should allow for scaling to different sizes.
The style of the new artwork should be similar to Angry Birds, Cut the Rope etc. The head of the main character Mister G has already been
designed and needs to be incorporated/improved into the new design of the start screen with a body and arms.
The artwork will be displayed in landscape mode on both iphone and ipad devices. The graphic designer therefore needs to ensure the design of the artwork copes with being cropped and scaled to display at 480px x 320px on an iPhone. This means the design should be centered allowing the top and bottom 1024px x 48px areas to be cropped out on an iPhone. These areas should therefore be a continuation of the background.
I have attached some screen shots of the game to give the designer the context of how the artwork will be used in the game. All buttons are drawn by the game and not part of this design work. All text is drawn by the game and not part of this design work except for the start screen image which displays the text "Maze Man Mr G".
The game is about a small character called Mister G that runs along paths of a maze avoiding zombies and collecting coins - similar to the old PacMan game. The game is essentially 2 dimensional looking down from above. There are different types of mazes in the game ie Park theme, Egyptian Theme etc. I am looking for an artwork design that portrays the character Mister G running along a path that is part of a maze of paths. I've attached some examples of the style of artwork required (see [login to view URL])
The deliverable must be Photoshop layered files.
