Hi I'm an automation engineer with 10+ years of experience and I would suggest using original Siemens Logo 6 instead of Eaton. Or if you insist, Eaton is ok too. Programming would take 8 hours including parameters screens. And definitely less than $750. Best regards, Dennis Poduzov

I recommended you to choose Unitronics V130 or V350 PLC device for your project, it's simple, cheap, and most important things - have an included HMI system (keypad and screen or touchscreen) to change yours parameters like you want ... - in your case timers for 4 output. You could use the rest of 500$ to buy this PLC ... :)) ! Best Regards!

Hello! If you only have the 4 outputs that you need to control during the test cycle then the Eaton Easy500 range should be fine for your application. Assuming there are not too many inputs then something like the EASY512-DA-RC should do nicely. That one has 8 x 12 VDC inputs and 4 x output relays. It also has a small display which would allow you to enter the test parameters, timers etc. The test itself could then be initialised through either via the display or by including a simple start / reset push button arrangement connected to the inputs. Within my bid I would include for: - initial phone / skype discussion to clarify requirements - overview drawing of system (focused on the controller, just to summarise the requirements and make sure everyone is happy) - Setup / programming of Easy500 (or Easy700 if deemed necessary) - close-out phone / skype discussion - I'm more than happy to support with any additional advice concerning wiring, cable sizing, power supplies, safety circuits etc. I should be able to complete the work within a day or two of the initial phone/skype meeting. I've set the completion time as 3 days as I currently only have an old version of Eaton's EasySoft which is used to program these controllers. I have allowed an additional day for me to get hold of the latest version to ensure you have no issues with firmware / hardware compatibility at your end (EasySoft is available next day here in the UK from RS Components).
