Add manufacturer table to homepage of Magento site(repost)

I have nearly completed my magento based website, and require a little bit of extra work on the homepage. Basically I require a list of all of the manufacturers down the left hand side of the homepage below the list of products that is currently there - these categories will obviously need to link to the products. The homepage is here: [login to view URL] An example of what it should look like is simliar to here: [login to view URL] I do not require list of prices, just manufacturers. I will also require the code on how to do this once the project is complete.
