Hi, I'm in the midst of developing a Buddy Press community site that also serves as a B2B directory. I need advanced search capability based on the custom profile questions I set up for users. In the users profile I’ve set up custom fields in two groups, a “personal” group of custom questions,(fields) and a “company” group of custom questions. Basic stuff, in personal, Name, Address, Email, Phone numbers, Occupation, etc. In the company group several fields to select business category/type, address etc. A company can have more than one category, Questions likes “what category best describes your business”? I need to be able to give users the ability to search by all or some of those same predetermined profile questions. I.E. Say someone is looking for a repair center in a specific city. The search would be based on selecting repair center and the city you are looking for. Or widen the search to find all repair centers by leaving the location/city field blank and just searching “repair centers”
