This project entails writing a C# implementation of the IOleCommandTarget COM interface to provide a custom command button on the Internet Explorer 7 toolbar, running Windows Vista.
When the Exec method executes the browsers IWebBrowser2 interface must be available as a class variable.
It is also required that the 'Explorer Extension' be executed uplon load of IE, so that it may register some event listeners.
Facilities for this must also be provided (whatever they are, registry keys, or COM interfaces).
This is a very simple project, but it must be implemented correctly to ensure platform stability.
This is VERY important. Code that causes IE to hang, or crash will not be acceptable.
All code must be specific to this project, and not utilise 3rd party libraries (other than native Windows libraries).
The QueryStatus/Exec methods will then be coded by myself in C# to manipulate the DOM of the currently loaded web page.
All code must be clear, concise, and well commented so that I may understand what everything is doing.
Additional funding may be available to assist with continued development.
