I am looking for the development of an excel spreadsheet that calculates stake amounts on football results in order to achieve a user-definable target profit from each match.
Assuming there are only 3 possible outcomes to a football match: Home Win, Away Win or The Draw.
If the odds for each (in UK Decimal) are:
Home Win: 1.9
Away Win: 3.60
Draw: 3.45
I want to be able to set a target profit of say 25 and have the stakes for each individual selection calculated automatically so that the stakes on the losing bets are recovered and the target profit is achieved.
The target amount must be a variable that I can change, and I would like a starting bank and a running bank total that gets updated each time a bet is placed.
The assumption is that regardless of the outcome (or size of the stakes involved) the target amount is made on each event, regardless of the outcome.
This is going to pose a challenge I am sure, so a good knowledge of maths is probably advisable, as well as a good understanding of odds calculations.
