Create Pivot Table excel reports from QuickBooks Data using QODBC

Problem: Insufficient reporting data in Standard QuickBooks reports. Mission: To pull live QuickBooks data that is dynamically linked to the underlying QuickBooks data and populates two Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with PivotTables using QODBC connections. Spreadsheet #1 “Cleared Checks?? must compile multiple checks and or bills paid to Vendors by job. Also, must indicate if checks have cleared and show the respective Class, amount, type and date of the check. Please see the attached spreadsheet for the format I’m looking for. This report will primarily be used to see what checks have been cleared from a certain “Job??. Spreadsheet #2 “Vendor payments?? must compile all items and expenses (in the same column) that match the selected Vendor, Job and Class selections. Line items must show Date, Check $, Amount of Check and Cleared status. This report will primarily be used to tell Vendors what they purchased from us. Note: Cleared Status must be accurate. PivotTables/ drop down menus are the key here. I am a QuickBooks expert but not familiar enough with QODBC the QB SDK, Pivot Tables, or the schema tables ( [login to view URL]) to do this quickly. Someone who is familiar with this could do this easy. ## Deliverables I am looking for something that is aesthetically pleasing and organized so that that we could “copy & paste?? the data into a word document. Thus, neatness counts. I am using QuickBooks Pro 2006 so I will purchase the QOBDC driver from [[login to view URL]][1]. I prefer the coder to use this program and basic methodology since I am already somewhat familiar with it. If you have other ideas let me know. I will want to be briefed on the basics of the spreadsheet at completion of project so I can make minor changes if necessary. For example: I’d like to know which tables were used, how I can move cells, change the drop downs and cosmetics. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
