We manufacture embedded appliances running Windows XP embedded. When first installed by the client, these appliances need to: Join the domain Set up the IP address on all NICs Specify the domain user name and password under which certain services should run. Possibly create those user IDs in Active Directory Given that these products are embedded appliances, I need them to have a pretty face for all their configuration. If you have a residential gateway, I am looking for something similar to the screens that configure one of those. I need a front-page web form in our standard product format that allows an administrator to set the IP address (or select DHCP) of the server and domain membership of the server. It then needs to set certain Windows Services to run as domain users. It should get user names and passwords for the services. It should create the users, if they do not exist, and add the users to the groups required by those services. To accomplish all of this, the user will have to provide Domain Administrator credentials to the web form, probably using MS-CHAP or equivalent. Prior to joining the domain, the user will have to provide local administrator credentials; probably default values configured at the factory. After a reboot the system should be a member of the domain and all services should start up under the domain user accounts created in the web form. And of course, the Administrator should be able to change all of these settings after installation; it is not a one-time-use window. Put another way, I want to perform the functions of the [login to view URL] (Computer Network Identification and Computer Name Change buttons), as well as the [login to view URL] via a web form. The web form should be built using our existing template format (provided to successful bidder.) This is a fairly complex request, so please make sure you understand all of the implications before bidding. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Embedded IIS C# ASP.NET
