Adobe AIR App: Dashboard

Looking for talented Adobe AIR developer to create a downloadable application that will feature Twitter, YouTube, RSS, and other feeds and display them in a "dashboard" like feel. The first part of the project is for proof of concept, scalable to 5,000 users, but should be able to work well to hundreds of thousands (or millions of users) with a few tweeks. Have product roadmap and all information needed. ## Deliverables CONFIDENTIAL. PROJECT: The Presidential Dashboard January 3, 2009 The purpose of this project is to develop a US Presidential dashboard that anyone can download and run on their computer. The full featured dashboard will include: 1. Twitter feeds from Barack Obama 2. RSS feeds from [login to view URL] 3. YouTube Videos from Barack 4. Ticker-like conversation tracker of Obama on Twitter 5. Sentiment tracking from Twitter 6. Latest articles and blogposts about Barack Obama 7. Ability for users to participate in polls 8. Ability for users to create petitions and react to policy We understand that all of the above cannot be built in the first version, so the product roadmap is as follows: Version 0.5 • Integration of Twitter feed from Barack Obama (@barackobama) • RSS feed integration of blog posts from [login to view URL] • Video integration of Barack Obama ([login to view URL]) • Ability for users to participate in polls • Integration with Get Satisfaction for user support • CMS/Admin menu that allows for account maintenance (creation, modification, deletion), poll administration, ability to add additional Twitter, RSS, and video feeds Version 1.0 • Perfect all of the above (0.5) • Integration of “stock ticker?? like tracker of Obama conversations on Twitter • Sentiment tracking of Obama and presidential party from Twitter • Latest articles and blogposts re: Obama and presidential party aggregated • Ability for users to create petitions and/or react to policy decisions • CMS/Admin menu to include all of the above This application will need to scale flawlessly. I’m guessing that all of the information will need to be stored either on Amazon AWS or 10gen, and should be able to accommodate 50,000+ simultaneous users for Version 0.5. We can limit it to 50k for the alpha version. Would like the application to be made in Adobe AIR so that anyone can download it to his or her desktop, similar to TweetDeck.
