We have a number of websites running pligg ([url removed, login to view]) and require a desktop application or php script to generate a few thousand names, usernames and passwords.
The usernames should be in a variety of formats, and not just undeciperable numbers and letters.
In terms of adding them to pligg, because we own the websites, you can just create the necessary sql for us to execute on the database to add the users as this should be a lot simplier than adding the code to register as captcha code is used.

We are open to other solutions to achieve this. The script/program needs to create a different set of usernames/passwords each time it runs, and it should have a configuration screen where the user can decide the length of the username, users name, and password.
It should also give the option for password, of number of letters, numbers, and special characters, as well as how many upper, lower case to include.
