create a website in joomla or wordpress

Looking for a website in either Joomla or wordpress for my construction company, this will be simply informational, NO Ecommerce, but good design and intuitive UI is important. Links to a page with a nice banner with images and a description about his experience in commercial construction, and has all commercial project development projects listed with a thumbnail and a description for each. Once a development is clicked, it brings you to a mini portal for that development.
