Custom Web application: Customer order status portal

THE GOAL The goal is to display the status of outstanding orders for the customer, whilst the admin's can update the information to add for example a tracking code, shipping date, an invoice, ... STRUCTURE After loging in, users will be able to see all records based upon their ClientID, admin users will be able to see all orders from all clients. The only difference between the two categories of users is that admins can see and edit all the data, end-users can only see their own data and not edit anything. Admins will have an additional screen to create a new order, which has to be assigned to a ClientID. The orders will be divided in three categories, to allow the user more easily to lookup an order. The status, as inputted or editted by the admin user will be decisive for the category the orders will be displayed in: - Planned orders (ordered, not yet shipped) - Shipped orders - History (contained all closed orders) INPUT All fields will have to be updated and updated manually by the admin. We want to keep this as basic as possible, therefore: - there will only be two levels of authorisation. Admin users can edit all information in the system, users will just be able to see the information for their orders. - No 'integration' with other services or accounting required. Everything will have to be filled in manually by the admin (and invoices uploaded as a pdf file; ...) KEY DATA IDENTIFIERS 1. Ordernr.: all orders in the user account will be displayed per order. 2. Client ID: important, to allow clients only to see their own orders. 3. Estimated date of Arrival: within each category (planned, shipped and history), the data will show most recent orders first. 4. Order Status: this parameter will be either "planned", "shipped" or "completed". This will assign the subpage in which the information will be displayed. CODING The application should be able to be easily hosted and have flexible coding language. I have more or less a preference to put the backend on Ruby on Rails. Can you provide me thus a price quotation for this application, summary: - Login: user or admin - system will show all orders. Clients will only see their own orders. Orders will be put in any of the 3 categories, based on their status (Planned, shipped, history) - admin users can create a new order and assign it to a customer - admin users will input all information manually (most freetext field, some dropdowns, some date fields, some attachments per order) - An order will contain about 10 editable fields + 8 attachments + 1 remarks field. I guess the work should'nt be super complicated. If interested and an interesting price, we can share thoughts and i can email some ideas how i want the data displayed on the screen.
