Content Management Online Service

Proposal Develop an online web-service allowing users to search, browse and add content to/from a large, dynamically growing pool of information. I will limit the description I give here because this is a unique idea that I believe will fill a niche and eventually turn into something big! All parties involved will also be required to sign a nondisclosure agreement. The Project This is a fairly large project consisting of a web-interface with database integration; you are to develop a robust, multifunctional, interactive website that meets the requested design specifications to the tee. The end product should be scalable, with source code well formatted and commented so I or another developer may be able to make modifications (Object-Oriented development). The basic requirements: A navigation system allowing users to browse through categories to find specific content, Different display modules whose content is updated as the user navigates through categories (The modules will display content in a unique, visually appealing format), Means for users to add content to a certain category, Means for users create an account, allowing them to manage all their content and more, A searching system that can find content in terms of its user, text and more, Although a lot of focus has been put on the content management functionality of the site, it is important to note that the look, feel and small usability features are EXTREMELY important. A lot of your time will be spent making the site look the way I want in terms of color, layout, module shapes and sizes; feel the way I want in terms of flow and animation; and include many small, clever little features to improve usability. The style I am looking for is somthing like: [login to view URL], www.freelancer.com, [login to view URL] My Involvement I am a fellow developer (Computer Engineer) and am exceptionally passionate about this idea; however I do not have the time to develop it myself. I have created detailed design specifications, and am looking for a developer (or 2) to help bring my vision to life. I want to be very involved throughout the development process, discussing with you things like software architecture (classes, data structures, etc), database design (schema, stored procedures, etc) and hosting requirements. I would also like 24/7 access to all the code (setup over an SVN environment, google code, or anything you prefer). About You No large development teams, but strong, confident developers. It is my intention to build a relationship with you, the developer (or a small team of 2), so we can continue to work with each other on maintenance and future expansion. We will be regularly communicating 2-3 times a week so you will need to be fluent in english, have a skype account and be comfortable providing a phone number (most likely will not be used). The Reward I am bringing this website idea to life with the motivation of steady, long-term advertising revenue. Initially you will be brought on as a one-time developer working for the agreed price; but I will consider bring you on as more permanent part of the team once we get into this project and build some rapport.
