Hi looking for a freelancer to help build an e-commerce website for a tyre company. the website will have the following criteria 1.) The website will be built on WordPress. 2.) E Commerce system would be Woo Commerce. 3.) Website template is attached, this template may change slightly over the next couple of weeks but not much. Use this as a guide for the homepage. 4.) The website will need to be populated with products using an Excel spreadsheet or CSV which will need to be populated. This spreadsheet could have between 5,000 to 10,000 products. The products will be tyre related. The tyres will need a brand associating with each tyre. 5.) There will a MIDAS Web Service by CAM Systems to update the database with new stock, prices and new products. We will need scheduled tasks to update the database we initially imported in step 4. This web service should help us update prices on a daily basis. 6.) The homepage will feature a Search for your Tyre widget allowing the options to search by car registration or by tyre size width, rim size, profile, speed rating and brand. The car registration look up will connect to an external website; we could use Car Web UK for example to get the tyre details required. The website to service this part of the website will be setup directly with Tyre Company. [login to view URL] - developer may be able to suggest another number place lookup service. 7.) The Search for your Tyre widget will link into the shop displaying the most compatible tyres. They may then refine the results using a filter on brand and price. Once they have chosen the tyre they want to buy, they can then add to basket and checkout. Payment will be taken by PayPal or credit card service. Possible gateways would be PP, WorldPay and Sage Pay. Others could be an additional charge. Successful order will be sent to Tyre Company's email address. All tyres will be delivered to Tyre company to be fitted. 8.) i would also require the freelancer to help me understand the functionality of the website and where certain files are on the server.
