A custom control like a listbox in VB.NET Value of the control should export and import XML text Details of Control: 1. Pages on Left side 2. Actions on Middle Side 3. Events on Right side ## Deliverables The Pages will be seperate sections of Actions and Events Custom Editor on Right Side The actions and events stuff? will be a graphical listbox The items that can be put into the actions and events will be seperate item propertys The item property of actions and events will include: 1. Name (Will be used in the XML) 2. Description? (Will be displayed with the item on the listbox) 3. Image (Will be displayed with the item on the listbox) 4. Editors which includes an array? of editors, validators/masks (email, phone,? vbscript code, etc)? and corresponding names/descriptions? (Text, Memo, Richtext,? VBScript),? VBScript to run when edited.? ? All of? which will be put on the right side when that item is clicked 5. VBScript to run when called Both the action column and Event column should be reorderable by drag and drop The actions column will have one add button at the top with a dropdown list of available action items The events column will have a list of event options and if you add an event a button on the right side of it will allow you to add actions below it. Default Actions Include: Change Page, End Script, Open Script This is just the code to make the XML, Validation, and User Interface.? Not to actually run the given scripts. This item would contain: * Textbox, Name=From, Description=Email From, Validation=emailaddress, CallVBScript=none * Textbox, Name=To, Description=Email? To, Validation=emailaddress, CallVBScript=none * Textbox, Name=Subject, Description=Email? Subject, Validation=none, CallVBScript=none * MemoEdit, Name=Body, Description=Email? Body, Validation=none, CallVBScript=none And on the right side when that item is clicked it should show those 4 textboxes and their descriptions I have attached a picture of the CallButler IntelliScript Editor that I would like to mimic kind of. This is for a vb.net WinForms application. Just to try to reclarify the situation for those of you who don't understand my description thus far. Basically I want 3 listbox's but instead of ugly list items make a nice beveled or round cornered squares.? I want to be able to customize the items the user can choose from in the actions and events (two seperate lists).? The pages list could just have a list of pages of the script a new page is equal to blank actions and blank events.? If a user clicks on a page that exists it should show the actions and events on that page in the appropriate columns.? Whenm you add an event lets say one event is "if 1=1" well then below that you can click on the event hit add action and actions would appear to follow the event, which will again be chosen by the original list of actions I entered at design time with appropriate name, description, edititems, and image.? Ok so now I got an event, and connected to the event is an action, well I click on either the event or action and up pops the editors on the right that chosen at design time to display.? So once the user is done it will "save" to XML text (which I will store in a database, you just need to provide the XMLText Property) and also a LoadXML sub to load a saved script and populate all correct boxes.
