Hi, I am trying to accomplish binding an event to an event handler at runtime using vb.net, but have had no success. Here are some details: 1. I want to dynamically bind the handler method to the object which raised the event at runtime. 2. My event is in it's own seperate assembly and class, my handler is in its own assembly and "form" class [login to view URL] my event and handler have identical signatures, 4.I receive the error "object does not match target type", as soon as the debugger hits the "addEventHandler" method. Here is my code so far that would reside in my form class: Dim objAssembly As [login to view URL] = [login to view URL]("myAssembly") Dim t As Type = [login to view URL]("anAssemblyClass") Dim obj As Object = [login to view URL](t, [login to view URL]) Dim ev As [login to view URL] = [login to view URL]("myEvent") Dim evh As EventHandler = New EventHandler(AddressOf myEventHandler) [login to view URL](Me, evh) can you help me? Thanks ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Sunday Sep 24, 2006 1:33:25 PM: Thank you for all of your bids. I ended up figuring out how to do this my own, so I won't need any help now and am closing the bid. Thanks Again, Rick ## Platform vb.net
