DB / Application(repost)

Sql / Database work This is not a difficult task for a competant programmer. I need a database or a small application that a user can use on their local pc which will update a sql db on a remote server preferably via port 80 i undersatnd this may need some .asp work [which must be done in classic asp]. I would like the application written in vb.net and it must be able to be run on XP or vista the server on which this db resides is running windows 2000 server and sql server 2000. The db will be for a processor to update / add entries into a business directory that i will be creating. I will provide the information for the fields but they are quite simple. The fields will be as follows Business Type [This will be prefilled on the sql db] Business name Contact Name Address Address1 City/Town Country Postcode Email Address WWW Address Description Processors notes Date Contacted The application must allow the user to add/edit/delete an entry to the db before it has been added to the sql db once it has been added to the sql db then the processor cannot do anything with the entry. There needs to be a process on the application that allows the processor to upload the days work. and therefore mark in the db that this entry was uploaded. The work flow for the processor needs to be thought about. Initially they must select a country from a drop down drawn from the sql db then they select a city / Town ... then a business type. Once these have been selected then the details for that business must be entered. Anything else useful im interested in hearing about.
